It’s that most wonderful time of the year… no, not Christmas. Halloween!
I love everything about this time of year from the nights drawing in and the changing colours to the opportunity to indulge in everything kitsch and spooky. And I know one can be a goth year round but I enjoy it so much more when I ration myself to just one month of the year. Last week Mini Chef and I dug through our stash and started adding plastic bats and spiders everywhere. Window stickers are everywhere and I think there are five sets of lights that have gone up. As always, I expect to be finding stuff until Christmas.
This year, I’ve decided to do something a little different with Gloucester Studio and have an event aimed at children. I plan to don a costume, get them cooking in my cauldron over the fire and tell them stories over spooky treats. There are three time slots available on 31st October; 11am-12.30pm, 1.30pm-3.00pm and 4.00pm-5.30pm. Tickets cost £8 and can be booked by clicking your preferred time.
- Making hot chocolate in the cauldron over the fire
- A spooky cupcake
- A gingerbread bat
- Wand making
- Candy floss cobweb making
- Ghost stories told around the fire
Please note that other drinks can be substituted and everything can be tailored to suit dietary requirements. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any requirements. Tickets are required for everyone aged 1-101.
