My Easter in Cornwall

My Easter in Cornwall

I’m terrible at taking time off but over Easter my hand was forced. We had hired a car so we could all travel together but it quickly became apparent that with six seats in use, luggage space was limited. My family had a watchful eye on the most important things; each child had a bag of toys and books, my mum and husband were focused on the Simnel cake I’d baked. Hesitatingly, I volunteered the bag with my laptop and diary to stay behind.

The world did not end.

What did happen was that I got a tan and that strange cramped sensation I thought was just my hands eased. I had a wonderful break with plenty of fresh crab (just about my favourite food) and have returned bubbling with enthusiasm for a new project that will hopefully launch on 1st May!

Watch this space.

Flame on.
